After choosing the four designers we carry at the shop, we noticed only three of the four designers’ gowns came with names. The names were unique and complemented each gown’s individual style. Sincerity by Justin Alexander, however, only used numbers to identify their gowns. We thought the gowns deserved better, and we named after First Ladies! We put a lot of thought into the names and feel the names personify each First Ladies’ character.
“Eliza” by Sincerity is our pick for “Dress of the Week,” and the first Sincerity gown to be featured by this blog. She is an elegant, dreamy gown with pickups, tulle, and a floral embellishment. Her bodice is quite striking with embroidery and a modified sweetheart neckline, coming in at the natural waist. She has covered buttons on the back and a chapel train. Now, when you think she cannot get any better…she comes in “Rum Pink!” Her tulle pickups lend her to have a soft, sweet look about her and harken back to “Beauty.” This gown is appropriate for most any venue, from a country-chic outdoor wedding to a more traditional church wedding. “Eliza” is an excellent choice for a wedding gown.
Her style number is 3707 for those of you who want to check her out on the website. She is also available in ivory and white.
We also chose “Eliza” to show our support this October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. She is a pink gown! J.Lynn Bridal has “Pinked It Up” in the shop, and we hope you’ll be “Pinking It Up” all month too!
